| 2020-10-08 13:57:20 The European Day of Languages at our school Throughout Europe, 800 million Europeans are represented in the Council of Europe's 47 member states and all are encouraged to discover more languages at any age. The European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001, on 26 September. This year, our school joined the event and it took place last week. We took part in fun online and offline activities. Through games and quizes we learned about various languages of Europe. We learned the European country names in international sign language. It was really funny! Some of us spoke Russian, Greek, German, Italian and some even sang in Japanese!!! We draw flags, learned simple words in different languages, played games, guessed the meaning of some words and we enjoyed. See you next year! |
